If a Jupiter trojan, there is the obvious question as to why it is outgassing now, after 4+ billion years in the same orbit. Are there signs of a recent orbit perturbation ? For example, does it pass within the orbit of Hilda (I don't think that is a stable orbit for a Jupiter trojan.)TMEubankshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00271298679549213444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2384955221140946807.post-22755349124336551672011-10-21T07:35:11.641-07:002011-10-21T07:35:11.641-07:00Hold the front page!!! we may have something!Hold the front page!!! we may have something!NickAstronomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17313882936102243914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2384955221140946807.post-79654312861164641122011-10-18T08:01:38.410-07:002011-10-18T08:01:38.410-07:00This video was trending globally on Twitter on the...This video was trending globally on Twitter on the 18th Oct 2011...it's really that amazing to watchNickAstronomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17313882936102243914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2384955221140946807.post-785487404108693042011-10-18T06:15:05.659-07:002011-10-18T06:15:05.659-07:00Correction we actually got down to mag 22... nothi...Correction we actually got down to mag 22... nothing there (fragment wise)NickAstronomerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17313882936102243914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2384955221140946807.post-25853355264803856562011-10-18T05:53:52.703-07:002011-10-18T05:53:52.703-07:00We found a new asteroid when imaging 213P Van Ness...We found a new asteroid when imaging 213P Van Ness today, submission made to the MPC.
